Cape Town - Arrival

Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

Discover Cape Town

Your guide will meet you at your hotel for your tour of Cape Town. Drive past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall and the Grand Parade. Pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter, a former slave settlement situated on the slopes of Table Mountain. Continue for a tour of the art of diamond cutting and the careful craftsmanship of jewelry manufacturing. You will have the option, weather permitting, of ascending Table Mountain by the revolving cable car for spectacular views of the city and Robben Island. This afternoon, you may want to consider an optional tour of the Cape Town Winelands. (B)

Explore Cape Town

Enjoy a full day in Cape Town at your leisure to explore. We recommend considering an optional excursion to visit the Cape Peninsula. Meander along the Atlantic Coast, passing Sea Point, Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles. Arriving in Hout Bay, you can take an optional boat trip to Duiker Island to see the Cape Fur Seals. Next, you will travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve for the opportunity to ride in the Funicular. Continue to False Bay with a stop in historic Simons Town to visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. End your tour with the stunning Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens before returning to Cape Town. (B)

Cape Town - Hoedspruit - Kruger National Park

You will leave Cape Town today with a transfer to the Cape Town airport for your flight to Hoedspruit (ticket not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a short rest before your afternoon game drive. (B,L,D)

Spend the day exploring the wilds of Africa with your guide on a morning game drive, when the air is cool and the animals are beginning to stir, and an afternoon game drive, ideal for catching an encounter between predator and prey. Kruger Park is what is known as Big 5 country where you may have the opportunity to witness lions, leopards, rhinos, elephant and Cape buffalo. (B,L,D)

Enjoy a morning game drive before you depart Kruger for the airport where you will board your flight to Livingstone. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Victoria Falls hotel for the remainder of the evening at your leisure. Tonight, you have the option of taking a romantic cruise down Africa’s famed Zambezi River in a stylish Ra-Ikane. Savor the gourmet dining on board as you coast along on an unforgettable African experience. (B)

Discover Victoria Falls

Today you will take part in a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls and the encompassing nature reserves. Known locally as The Smoke that Thunders, tons of water plunge over the chasm into the Zambezi River below. Your tour will take you to the best viewpoints of the iconic waterfall, allowing you to soak up the powerful atmosphere of the Falls. (B)
