Croatia Adriatic Yacht Cruise Vacation

Embark on your Croatian journey in Split where you will enjoy a walking tour of the historic city center and have a chance to dip your toes in the Golden Horn via Bol on the island of Brac. Next, sail to Hvar and enjoy a sightseeing tour including the first public theater in Europe and the Franciscan Monastery. Continue your voyage on the Island of Vis, established in 397 B.C., and enjoy free time to explore this ancient island settlement. You will also have a chance to visit Marco Polo's birth place on Korcula Island and the prehistoric port of Vela Luka where you will visit an olive oil factory, the Barilo Ethno Museum and a local winery for wine and cheese tasting. Explore the city on your walking tour and see the beautiful Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Take a breath of fresh air when you visit the Mljet National Park on Mljet Island. This park boasts 5 types of forest and 2 lakes, not to mention the native flora and fauna. You will feast like royalty that evening at your Captain's dinner with live entertainment. Your final port will be Dubrovnik where you will have a walking tour of the old town and see sites such as the Rector's Palace and a Franciscan Monastery with pharmacy.

Split – Arrival – Embark Cruise

You will be met at the airport or your Split hotel and transferred to your cruise ship to embark on your 8-day cruise (check-in starts at 12:00 pm). (Night supplements will be charged for early morning/late evening transfers.) Get settled in your cabin before attending a welcome reception in the evening.



Split – Bol (Brac) – Stari Grad (Hvar)

Enjoy a guided walking tour of Split and visit the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, it’s Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the cathedral. Set sail towards Bol, a small town on the Island Brac, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 1,740-foot-long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. Spend the evening and night in Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe. (B,L)



Stari Grad – Hvar – Vis

Sail towards the town of Hvar for a sightseeing tour featuring the first public theater in Europe, the Franciscan Monastery, and many more historical sights. Continue cruising towards the Island of Vis. Visit the town of Vis, founded around 397 B.C., and see its waterfront. The evening is at leisure. (B,L)



Vis – Vela Luka (Korcula)

After breakfast, set sail for Korcula Island, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Your port of call for the day is Vela Luka (the “big harbor”), dating back to prehistoric times. After lunch on board, disembark in Vela Luka and depart on an afternoon island tour, visiting an olive oil factory, the Barilo Ethno Museum, and a local winery for wine and cheese tasting. Return to your ship for an evening at leisure. (B,L)



Vela Luka – Korcula

In the morning, enjoy some free time for swimming before heading to Korcula town. Take a walking tour through its narrow, cobbled streets and visit the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Your evening is free to discover the town and enjoy dinner on your own at one of many local restaurants. (B,L)



Korcula – Mljet

Today, set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park features 5 types of forest, many species of birds, and 2 deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). This lovely island supposedly was a favorite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses. Tonight, enjoy a Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment. (B,L,D)



Mljet – Dubrovnik

In the morning, sail to Dubrovnik, called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While in Dubrovnik, take a walking tour of the old town and visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. The remainder of the day is free to explore this lovely city on own. (B,L)



Dubrovnik – Disembark Cruise – Return

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Dubrovnik airport or your Dubrovnik hotel. (Night supplements will be charged for early morning/late evening transfers.) (B)
