Arrival - Aswan

Welcome to Aswan! Upon arrival at Aswan International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and will be driven approximately 30 minutes to the accommodation of your choice. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and begin exploring the serene beauty of Aswan. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk along the Nile Corniche, the waterfront promenade in Aswan. You can find several cafes and restaurants where you can unwind and enjoy the scenic views of the river.

Start your day with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that controls the Nile's annual flooding and provides water and electricity to Egypt. Next, explore the Unfinished Obelisk, an ancient granite quarry that reveals the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to construct these massive monuments. Continue to the majestic Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This beautiful temple complex was relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of the Nile due to the construction of the High Dam. In the evening, consider the Philae Temple Sound and Light Show, which brings the history and legends of the temple to life through a captivating multimedia presentation.

Embark on an early morning flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, explore the two magnificent temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II, renowned for their colossal statues and intricate carvings. The Great Temple, dedicated to Ramses II, and the smaller Temple of Hathor, dedicated to his queen Nefertari, are UNESCO World Heritage sites and stand as a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and artistry. After your tour, enjoy some free time to admire the stunning scenery of Lake Nasser before flying back to Aswan in the afternoon. After returning to Aswan, consider visiting the Nubian Villages with a private guide. Sail to the bottom of Elephantine Island and explore the vibrant Nubian Villages of Siou and Koti. These colorful villages are nestled in the heart of the Nile River and offer a glimpse into the traditional Nubian way of life. Take a leisurely stroll through the shady alleys and gardens and interact with the friendly locals. The Nubian Museum in Aswan provides further insights into the history and heritage of the Nubian people.

Aswan - Departure

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the approximate 30-minute transfer to Aswan International Airport, where you will check in for your onward flight. Alternatively, you can choose to continue your journey by taking a scenic cruise on the Nile River.
