1

Journey from Cusco to Puno

We will leave for Puno, savoring the magnificent landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco along the way. Initially, we will explore Andahuaylillas, encountering the San Pedro church, an exquisite 17th-century structure housing an impressive organ adorned with angels and cherubs. Subsequently, our journey takes us to the Raqchi ruins, also recognized as The Temple of God Wiracocha, featuring diverse areas with various purposes. Following this exploration, we will indulge in a delightful and authentic lunch at a local restaurant. Continuing our route, we will reach La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Puno, making a brief stop to marvel at the scenery. Our next destination is Pucará, where we will tour the town and its museum, showcasing this Inca military construction that served as an administrative center. Ultimately, we will reach our hotel in Puno."

Explore Lake Titicaca, Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island

Start your day with a visit to Taquile Island, where the welcoming community preserves ancient traditions, vibrant customs, and colorful attire. Renowned for their craftsmanship, the islanders create intricate handmade textiles using techniques passed down through generations. Next, journey to the unique floating islands of Uros, often called the "Town of the Lake." Constructed entirely of totora reeds, these remarkable islands serve as homes and trade hubs for the Uros people, who navigate the lake on handmade reed rafts. This unforgettable experience offers a glimpse into the rich culture and ingenuity of the communities on Lake Titicaca.
